How do you support student success?
CAFE provides financial wellness guidance to OSU students through one-on-one appointments, workshops and presentations. CAFE developed a financial readiness self-assessment survey that is taken by incoming students. The resulting outreach has led to improved first-year retention rates.
Where at OSU do you feel you have the greatest impact?
CAFE has been impactful because it leverages cross-unit expertise to tackle a common goal: to improve student outcomes from a financial wellness perspective.
Why are you proud to be part of OSU?
OSU’s strategic plan provides clear and ambitious targets around student success. Achieving these targets requires innovation and collaboration. It made me proud when the institution chose to support CAFE, understanding its specific role in elevating student success at OSU.
