How do you support student success?

One of the most fulfilling parts of my job has been mentoring undergrads in research — nurturing their confidence and curiosity, helping them to feel part of something big and meaningful and immersing them in wild places like Antarctica.

Where at OSU do you feel you have the greatest impact?

I think my greatest impacts on OSU processes are through my internationally recognized Antarctic research and my service on multinational bodies, both of which are aimed at enhancing knowledge about our global oceans to better conserve them for future generations.

Why are you proud to be part of OSU?

I’m proud to be a part of OSU’s internationally recognized research endeavors and to feel a part of a larger team aimed at advancing and sharing knowledge for the betterment of humanity.
